The ESG International Office

The team at the ESG International Office strive to ensure that foreign students at the School enjoy a rewarding personal and academic experience. The Integration and Student Life Advisor for international studentscan be one of your key resources. She organizes various activities to ensure your integration and support. The International Relations Coordinator for Incoming Students and his Assistant also can offer help with academic and administrative issues, as required. Arrival and Orientation

Here is a typical pattern for your first few weeks in Montreal :

• Consult with the reception service at the airport named Accueil Plus;
• Go to UQAM (for transportation to UQAM, see Comment se rendre à l’UQAM) (in french only); for a plan of the campus, see Plan du campus) (in french only);
• Find temporary lodging or move into your permanent housing. See the section : Planning For Departure;
• Attend the compulsory orientation days. See Key Dates (in french only);
• Make course changes, if necessary, by sending an email to the Assistant - Incoming Students at the International Office;
• Participate in activities organized by the International Office and the buddy program. See Key Dates (in french only);

Cost of Living

On average, you should expect to spend between $ 900 and $ 1 500 CAD per month. Obviously, the amount you spend during your stay at ESG will depend on your lifestyle and consumption habits (accommodations, excursions, restaurants, etc.).
